The Shepparton Alpine Club provides spectacular accommodation located at Australia's highest ski resort, Mt Hotham. Mt Hotham is easily accessible by car or bus with sealed road access via the Great Alpine Road with travel time of 4.5 hours from Melbourne via Bright or 5.5 hours via Omeo.
Shepparton Alpine Club is located at the south end of Dargo Court, within easy walking distance of village transport, restaurants and supermarket. Access to 35 kms of cross country ski trails and down hill ski slopes is via a short walk/ski from the door of the lodge. Intermediate skiers can ski from here directly to the slopes or alternately take the village bus to the upper slopes.
The resort is fully lit at night providing safe walking access from lodges to village transport and restaurants. A free village bus service is provided by the resort until 3:00 am, from car parking to accommodation. The resort also provides night skiing at the Big D complex.
